For about fifteen years, I operated a small investment partnership. We started with post-bankruptcy speculation, ended with a bias toward mining companies . . . and that made it time to disband. The markets provided backgrounds for a half-dozen financial novels into the mid-90s. The partners were wonderful.  We all made a buck.
